In the previous year, losses have been 229.33 million takes, In the same way, losses in the financial year 2012-13 are 177.13 million, in 2011-2012, 200 million 69 lakhs and in the fiscal year 2009-2010 fiscal year the loss has been about 100 crore taka.

According to statistics, in the year 2000, postal delivery by 244 million 27 thousand letters was sent by the Postal Department. Now it has come down to 5 crores. Currently, 39 thousand 907 officers and employees working in post offices throughout the country are not happy About 24 thousand employees of these are runners or callers. Those who have a big problem.

An official of the postal department said that the general letter has decreased even though the registrar letter, parcel and official letter. The Postal Department has attached 118 vehicles to supply a letter to the public so that their message is delivered to the public quickly. An initiative has been initiated to build post offices at the rural level. The construction of new buildings will start in April. But the manpower crisis remained.

However, it has been learned that the government has taken a massive expansion of post office banking to reach the postal department on the threshold. Its main goal is to provide services through the post office of those who are outside the banking sector at the threshold level. There is a chance to open savings accounts, withdraw money and submit it.

State Minister for Post and Telecommunications Tarana Halim said the post office digitalization was being done. In China such as postal service has been modernized, it will also be done in Bangladesh. Modernization of post office will not be obstructed by anyone. The initiative has been taken; Implementation is just a matter of time. If these are implemented, then the postal department will again turn back.
