Microsoft will bring Surface Mini back in 2014.

Software giant Microsoft plans to open 8-inch Surface Mini tablets to compete with the iPad mini in 2014. This high profile device was also open with Surface Pro 3 as well.

But at that time Microsoft's chief executive and chief of staff, Stephen Elop, canceled the device for unknown reasons. However, the image of the Surface Mini in Windows Central has been leaked to reveal the new open.

From the design side of the image, it seems to be a small version of Surface Pro 3.

According to the data, Microsoft is also planning to add a case to protect the Surface Mini, which will be a non-removable part of the tablet.

The tablet also has an 8-inch display, Snapdragon 800 processor, 1GB RAM, 32GB storage and dual band Wi-Fi.

Microsoft did not succeed with their Windows-powered tablets. Even 7-inch tablets did not await the response in the market, and in such a situation, the company plans to open Surface Mini.
