Roy is in favor of Google

Finally, the verdict has gone Google's favor. According to the tax, the French authorities will not be required to pay 110 million euros to Google. A French court on Wednesday gave the verdict for Google.

Reuters reported that Google Ireland Limited was not forced to pay any corporate or value added tax from 2005 to 2010. The reason why the French authorities can not claim the money now is said in the verdict.

Google has no 'permanent establishment' or adequate taxable presence in the country, which can be claimed by the tax.

But after the verdict, the French Finance Minister gave a statement. Where they have been told to appeal against the verdict in two months.

In May 2016, French Finance Department officials searched the Paris office of Google under Alphabet as part of the tax fraud investigation.

On May 24, almost 100 tax officials in France entered the office of Google. After the investigation, allegations were made against Google for owing $ 160 million.
