Police have been dragging a UNO for Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's picture 'distorted', such pictures surprised Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. When UNO's arrest was published on the newspaper page, the Prime Minister expressed his opinion in front of high-level government officials.

Top minister's political consultant HT Imam instructed BBC Bangla in an interview.

After depicting the arrest of the UNO on July 20th, the Prime Minister said, "This officer has done a very good job by organizing a competition among boys and girls of class five. And the picture that is drawn there is in front of me, you can see. And nothing has been done to distort this film. This is a worthy award. This officer is definitely worth the reward. And opposite, we did this with him, the Prime Minister rebuked the saying. He said this is reprehensible.

This' very enthusiastic 'who has been inside the party has done the tricks, saying that these husbands are harming us', he said.

At Imam released a direct rage about how a government official was arrested without permission, and how a district judge took charge against him.

He said it can not be done. Because the UNO is the government's senior authority at the Upazila level. Necessary government approval is required to punish him or to make a case against him or to do something about him.

For this incident, HT Imam, responsible for the SP, DC of Barisal, said that the police deputy commissioner, the police super, I will blame each of the police using the UNO, as well as the way they took him. We also have to take action against them.

How did the police take such a case, and how did the district judge accept the case, he also questioned.

The arrest of the UNO in the field-level officials has been angered.

HT Imam said there can be three reasons behind this incident. First of all, they had no anger against the officer. It was their aim to humiliate them. Secondly, create an outrage among different services. And thirdly, the government's image wasted.

It is to be noted that while the executive officer of Agayljhara Upazila, Tarique Salman used a picture of Bangabandhu painted by a fifth-grade student of the Independence Day invitations. Obaid Ullah Saju, an Awami League leader in Barisal and President of the Advocate General of the district Obaid Ullah Saju, filed the case on June 7 on the allegation that Bangabandhu was distorted in the picture used in the invitation. He is currently the UNO of Barguna Sadar Upazila.

At the hearing of the case, Barisal Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court had earlier directed the executive officer to be sent to jail. Two hours after the order was given on Wednesday, the court granted him bail.

Meanwhile, an Upazila Executive Officer has condemned the condemnation in an unprecedented statement on the incident of Najahal, the government officials organization, Bangladesh Administrative Service Association.

A press release said that the reaction came at an emergency meeting of the association in the chairmanship of the director general of the association and director general of the Prime Minister's Office, Kabir Bin Anwar.

In the meeting, a high level of condemnation and anger was expressed against the motivated and defamatory behavior of an important official of the state and the representatives of the Republic at the Upazila level.

It has also been mentioned that this issue has created anger and condemnation at different levels of society.

Calling for action against the concerned people, it is said that the concerned authorities are requested to take stringent laws against unauthorized and defamatory orders, law enforcement police activities and so-called namespace local politicians.
