Bangladesh cricket is going to be once again international title. As part of the government's plan, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has already started the work to build an international cricket stadium near the Padma river of Manikganj.
Local MP Naimur Rahman Durjoy, National Sports Council (NSC) Specialist, University of Engineering, NSC Secretary Ashok Kumar Biswas, Engineer Hedayetul Haque Mirza, Sukumar Biswas, Prof. Dr. Badruzzaman, Professor Dr. Ikramul Haque, Professor Dr. A committee formed in collaboration with Mahfuzur Rahman on Tuesday sounded near Paturia Ferry Ground of Manikganj District Abari have visited.
Dutarabari area of Shibalaya Upazila of Manikganj district is situated near the prominent Padma.
The NSC secretary told BSS yesterday, "Our sportsman Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has desired to build an international standard cricket stadium outside Dhaka."
He said that through this new stadium, international visitors will get the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of Bangladesh. From which both cricket and tourism will benefit.
He said, "In truth, it is the primary step - the report will be presented by the Boat and NSC engineers. Then we will recruit a firm for a report including soil test report, land price.
He said, although our intention is to build a stadium near the Padma. but we additionally must maintain a watch on the river breakdown. we are nonetheless seeking to satisfy prime minister's dream of constructing an international well-known Stadium.

The construction of a worldwide well-known cricket stadium calls for around 25 acres of land. He said, land needed for the essential land is there and the BUET delegation will supply positive file.

He said that the construction of the stadium will start in the current government.Bangladesh's first Test captain, Manikganj's son Durjoy, told reporters at Mirpur Stadium, "They have visited the area as a part of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's desire to build a stadium near the river."
"For this reason, Paturia Ferry Ghat area was initially selected. In addition to the ferry gate, the area is surrounded by natural beauty.
He further said the tourism industry must be developed when the stadium is built here.
